At Essex Lease, we are committed to giving back to Canadian communities. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Kids Cancer Care Foundation and begin hosting the Essex Lease Charity Golf Classic in 2021. This year will be our fifth year partnering with KCC, helping children and families in Alberta navigate the challenges of cancer.

Taking place on Thursday, September 4, at the Carnmoney Golf Club in Calgary, our charity golf classic will be a great time for a greater cause, with 100% of the proceeds supporting Kids Cancer Care.

We raised $201,517 for Kids Cancer Care in 2024

We’re excited to announce that our 2024 Golf Classic raised an incredible $201,517! This brings our total fundraising since partnering with Kids Cancer Care in 2021 to over $500,000. A huge thank you to our team and community for making this possible—together, we’re making a real difference!

About Kids Cancer Care Foundation

Kids Cancer Care Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and changing the lives for children living with cancer across Alberta. With a team of passionate professionals – and a network of over 300 volunteers – the foundation offers programs to address the immediate and long-term effects of cancer for children and families.

Key to the initiative is Camp Kindle – the foundation’s free outdoor camp. Kids Cancer Care provides year-round opportunities for children living with cancer to experience the great outdoors with its summer camp and year-round camp programs.
