At Essex Lease, we are committed to giving back to Canadian communities. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Kids Cancer Care Foundation and begin hosting the Essex Lease Charity Golf Classic in 2021. This was our fifth year partnering with KCC, helping children and families in Alberta navigate the challenges of cancer.

A portion of the funds raised at this annual event will help bring the “Essex Excavator” Treehouse to life at Camp Kindle as part of their Expansion & Accessibility Project. During our visit in late September, we were blown away by the incredible facilities and the many new additions since our last trip. We’re excited to see the next phase of growth and the impact it will have for kids and families.

We've raised Over $750,000 for Kids Cancer Care

We are proud to announce that our 2025 event raised a total of $235,031.25! In just five years, this event – organized start to finish by our Essex team – has raised over $750,000 to support KCC.

About Kids Cancer Care Foundation

Kids Cancer Care Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness and changing the lives for children living with cancer across Alberta. With a team of passionate professionals – and a network of over 300 volunteers – the foundation offers programs to address the immediate and long-term effects of cancer for children and families.

Key to the initiative is Camp Kindle – the foundation’s free outdoor camp. Kids Cancer Care provides year-round opportunities for children living with cancer to experience the great outdoors with its summer camp and year-round camp programs.
